My name is Emily Korn, and I am currently a college senior at the University of Michigan. I am a millennial, therefore, I do not intend to attack other millennials for the addictive technology behavior that I am guilty of myself. We get enough of that from the adult figures in our lives already. Instead, I aim to sympathize with the fact that giving up technology for good is unrealistic, and rather impossible in today's tech-driven world. The goal of disCONNECT is to teach others through a relatable lens that there is in fact another solution to this problem, one that is attainable and has the ability to lead to a happier version of yourself.
